Safety & Health Training Programs
Training: Training is an extension of safety, and acts to inform both clients and their employees on the proper protocol in order to react to situations that are potentially dangerous. Arming clients with the knowledge of how to identify a potentially hazardous situation is the ultimate goal. SCT provides traditional classroom training as well as online training solutions. Both vehicles provide an engaging environment where trainers interact with trainees in order to create a memorable and measureable educational experience.
Client Benefit: SCT's proven training techniques provide employee competency and create a safe and healthful working environment. Cutting down the cost of Workers Compensation Premiums as well as eliminating the potential for an OSHA citation by a compliance officer ultimately protects the company's bottom line.

Training Case Study:
Client Type: Independently-owned glass installation/glazing company
Problem: A client project involved asbestos and the employees did not know what kind of personal protective equipment (PPE) or engineering controls to use, and were unsure of how the particulates would impact workers. After proper training from SCT, the employees were educated on the potential hazards and the importance of understanding the necessary safety protocols. The day after SCT's training, the workers confronted the general contractor, who was trying to hide the asbestos problem and insisted that proper PPE and engineering controls were put in place before they would continue to work. Workers were knowledgeable and were able to pinpoint a potentially serious hazard BEFORE beginning work on the site.
Results: The workers were stronger, and better at their jobs, and went home to their families each and every day in the same healthy condition under which they came to work that morning.
